It all started during my time at UC San Diego as a Cognitive Science major. I took an Information Architecture and Usability class over the summer - I did not know what I was getting myself into because this was the class that piqued my interest in UX design and research. During my post-graduate years, I received my master’s in Psychology while taking extension courses at UC San Diego for UX Design.
Previously, I was a Product Manager at an early stage fin-tech startup called TipBrightly. Working with developers, sales, operations, and marketing has taught me the many aspects of what it takes to build a company and work with a cross-functional team. During my career, I helped ship the complete rebranding of the TipBrightly website and dashboard and the rebranding of the Gateway developer portal.
Passionate about user experience and product development, I worked with the Digital, Design, and Innovation team at Wells Fargo, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the Gateway developer portal and multiple SDKs and APIs. In this role, I gained hands-on experience in the end-to-end UX design process while optimizing workflows to improve design delivery for developers. Additionally, I implemented agile processes within the design team, improving collaboration, iteration speed, and alignment with engineering teams to deliver more intuitive and developer-friendly products.
In my free time, I love playing with my dogs, playing video games, and traveling.
